The Rodman Ride for Kids
Nativity Prep is proud to be part of Don Rodman’s Rodman Ride for Kids, an umbrella matching gifts charity that provides support to 25 child-related non-profit organizations. Since 1991, the Ride for Kids has raised over $31 million to help at risk children in Massachusetts.
This year, Nativity Prep reached our $75,000 goal, which earned us an additional 15% match from the Rodman Ride!

Project Bread’s Walk for Hunger
Nativity Prep has fielded a team for Project Bread’s Walk for Hunger for many years. The focus of Nativity’s participation has been to walk in solidarity with the poor and the hungry in Boston and around the world.
Last year, the Boston Globe wrote that "participation in the Walk for Hunger... is woven into the cultural fabric of Nativity Preparatory School in Jamaica Plain."
In 2009, as demand on hunger relief organizations grows every month, faculty members Lindsay Boris and Chelsea Ray led Nativity's efforts. Our seven fundraising teams--Kosquette Walks, Rai$in' in the Sun, NP's Happy Feet, Super Striders, Sunday Steppers, Speedy Foot-Firers, and Jabawalkeez--together gave $1310.54!
